Hi all, Here is an image of a Perseid fireball captured on 12-8-2012 at 01.42UT I missed it visually at the time due to glancing down to look at my watch. It did leave a train that lasted a couple of seconds or so. Camera was a Canon 550D + a Samyang 8mm fisheye F3.5 lens. Exposure 30 seconds at ISO 1000. Image cropped. The camera has Magic Lantern software added to the card to enable a greater choice of ISO settings etc. Regards Jimmy Attachments:

Hi, Thanks for posting Jimmy. How do you find the Samyang in general? Cheers, Bill

Hello Bill, Apologies for the MASSIVE delay in replying to you. I like the Samyang 8mm - wish it was slightly faster but overall very good. Nice sharp images. The film guru Philip Bloom has described it as 'sweet' and he knows far more about lenses than me. Very well made for an economical price. The same can be said for the rest of their popular lenses, esp those that are F/1.4 Regards, Jimmy
