It's the best spectrum I've caught!

This has the most detailed Mg and Fe lines I've seen but the video holds MUCH more interesting secrets...!

Got a tweet today from Jamie asking if this was a Southern Taurid.
The NEMETODE analysis suggests it was a sporadic but out of curiosity I dug out an image I got from last year that I certainly suspected to be a Southern Taurid.

The image from last year was highly foreshortened so the resolution is poor and I could only get a limited wavelength span BUT whilst the intensities are somewhat different the similarities are there!

First is spectrum of the "fragment" from this year.
