The 2014 Camelopardalid meteor shower

The IMO has put together a nice webpage giving details of this potentially strong shower of debris from comet 209P/LINEAR on the morning of May 24.

Hi,
On the meteors.seti.org site there are some comments about lunar impacts being possible between 01.30 and 05.30UT. So if the weather gives a chance it might be worth a look.
The forecast here has progressively worsened, typical! I'm glad I put the antenna outside on the mast properly now.

I forgot to add this, There was an enormous long duration reflection this morning. It's nearly 50 seconds in length.
I'm pretty sure this is not a meteor, probably a piece of space junk or a satellite, but you never know...
