Hi, Caught this nice fireball this morning (0150UT). Even went though the field of view of one of the watecs carrying a 300lpm grating. The bright star is Vega, the other feature is the moon very low down. It's a pity it was just at the start of the trail and not the head end as even at the start it was already generating, 1st, 2nd and 3rd order spectra. Although the grating was oriented to catch Lyrids, even tilted it would've still been a belter at the other end! cheers, Bill.

Hi Bill,
Yes, William captured it from Cheshire, David from near you, and myself from Leeds. Other colleagues might have recorded it, although the Easter holiday could delay their checks.
First results suggest it was a sporadic of absolute magnitude -5.3 passing between Cumbria and the Isle of Man.
More later,
Alex.

Hi Bill,
As you'll see from the NEMETODE website we now have decent coverage over the Irish Sea, IoM, Cumbria and SW Scotland, so please let us know if you need us to check for any bright events matching your spectra captures.
Cheers,
Alex.
