Hello All, Despite the near full moon, Saturday October 8th is a night to be on watch. There is a predicted, potentially storm, outburst of the Draconid meteor stream. Unfortunately for the UK the skies will not be fully dark at the predicted time with us just entering nautical twilight. However the radiant will be high and the moon to the south so make sure that you keep the moon to your back and face north(ish). The predicted maximum is 20.00UT+/- 30 mins so early evening. Keep your eyes peeled and post your observations! Regards, Bill.
