At the risk of jinxing an already dire outlook, it seems that with the way ex-Bertha is going to move I'm going to see precisely zero from the Perseid peak, Had a couple of hours last night but didn't catch a thing. I'm glad I put my radio antenna back up! Numerous pings all day as we approach the peak. I don't seem to be uploading succesfully to the RMOB site but the "colorgramme" is building nicely. Cheers, Bill.

Finally managed to get colorgramme talking to the RMOB site. Looks like plenty of activity but not a hope here. The wind is now picking up as the low re-deepens and swings back round. Had a lot of rain today, should be better tomorrow but I'm not hopeful for any visual/photo observing. Bill.

Hi, A disappointing washout here. Not a single hour of clear skies over the peak! The radio was a saving grace. Impossible to tell what meteors are what of course, but a peak count of 103 per/hour on the moring of the 13th Aug. Cheers, Bill.
