Hi All, It was a busy night last night - my north facing camera picked up 133 meteors (of which 103 were after midnight) while my east facing camera picked up 124, of which 107 were after midnight. If that was the night before the maximum ... WOW! Pity about the clouds tonight Did anyone see a bright event at 20121213_061838 ... very bright, slow moving just in the lower left corner of the FOV of my north facing camera? William Attachments:

Hi Wiiliam,
I nabbed 51 meteors that night (Dec 12/13).
Provisional numbers (from UFO Analyser) are:-
36 Geminids 8 Sporadics 3 Northern Taurids 1 Southern Taurid 3 Minor shower members
As we've seen, shower membership may change for some of these when analysed as 2-station captures.
I'll send you my M*.csv file for that night, for a first look at how many 2-station events we might have.
I didn't get the 06:18:38 meteor, but LeoLion might have seen it visually.
My brightest meteor was a -2 Geminid at 03:52:37.
Clear skies,
Alex.

Thanks Alex, In all liklihood it will be the weekend before I get a chance to make significnat progress on the analysis - so far I have completed up to 07th Dec for one camera but as already mentioned, there's a lot to get through (how ungrateful does that sound ... grumbling about lots of lovely data ) Anyway, will be interesting to see if we have any evidence of science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2012/11dec_newshower/Best regards William

Hi, My provisonal results show that my first Geminid was nabbed on Nov 23/24 and the last on Dec 14/15. I captured a total of 66 Geminids, 36 of them on Dec 12/13, with only 1 on Dec 13/14 (very cloudy). The attached image shows 2 Geminids, that appeared 0.6s apart. Best wishes for Christmas, Alex.
