Which was mine from 2012, nowhere near as spectacular but a different mesospheric flow pulling the persistent train away from the meteor flare point.
There are actually three meteors in his images. The "debris" is the third meteor and the other being the conincident with the big one. Might even be a nice dual meteor. The other short lines look like satellite glints to me.
PS The "Oz" in your title caught my eye as I miss observing from there soooo much, but this chap was in Austria, coincidently where I'll be in 3 weeks :-))
