Hi, Caught a remarkable spectrum last night but the meteor itself was outside the fov. If anyone has any images I'd appreciate a look! I'll get the spectrum processed asap. cheers, Bill.

Hi Bill, My Leeds_NW camera caught the attached meteor, a mag 0.6 Lyrid, almost certainly not the culprit! Cheers, Alex.

Hi, This was quite a bright sporadic. Certainly to generate a nice bright spectrum like this it'd be ~-3 mark. The difference good dispersion makes is remarkable. Even at low resolution lines become easier to positively identify. And doing the colourisation, which just looks better than any graph, makes it an even better catch.... It's a pity it was outside the fov of Daves camera too. Conditions not great here, quite a bit of cirrus but caught 17 Lyrids (including one weak Lyrid spectrum but not a lot from it) and a handful of sporadics/others. Cheers, Bill.
