Hi, Don't forget to keep a look out for the Leonid shower through the week. There should be some discernible activity now with the peak coming on the night of the 17/18. The moon will spoil things a bit but it's always worth a look just in case. Regards, Bill.
Cloudy here in West Yorkshire . Weird today with thick mist at dawn clearing back at 1000' on the local moors to give quality blue sky. All change by 1300 hrs (back to fog). Any daytime clarity has gone at dusk. Now for the Geminds - Activity over a reasonable time period and the moon there only for part of the night. I intend to run video cameras for the Ursids (looking northish ) if there is reasonable transparency to keep an eye on activity. Quadrantids and a solar eclipse coming up early next year. Really crucial for clear weather in this case !
