Hi, Only observation number 3 due to outstandingly poor weather recently! It's probably my eyesight but I've not been able to make it out naked eye. Both last night and tonight whilst "clear" have been misty. Anyway, got the telescope out for the first time in a long while and tried to get some shots that show the tail(s) Even at 12 x 60 secs and binning 2x2 it still took some aggressive stretching to see anything. I reduced the saturation to grey scale to eliminate a hideous colouration caused by local light pollution and various automatic software features getting carried away Might try the ATIK CCD rather than the dslr if the opportunity presents itself over the next week or so to see if that improves the situation. cheers, Bill.

Hi Bill,
That's a fine shot. So refreshing to see a comet image that was actually taken on home soil, rather than one downloaded from an automated system in Australia or New Mexico. :-)
I had a good look at the comet last Friday night and am hoping these snow-laden clouds will move away to let us have another view.
Cheers,
Alex.
